BattleTech is a board game produced by FASA that centers on the clash of Battlemechs, metres tall walking tanks massing up to 100 tons each. Other battlefield units are not neglected, however, as the rules cover infantry, VTOL aircraft, naval units and conventional vehicles.
BattleTech's sister games, AeroTech and BattleSpace, take the fight to the heavens, with Aerospace fighters clashing with conventional fighters, Dropships, Jumpships and even the mighty Warships.
This section of the site will contain several original vehicle designs for all of the games, as well as links to related sites.

Wraith
The Wraith is a light (20 tons) 'mech designed for fast recon and harrasment work. It's light weapon and armor load mean that it cannot survive a serious firefight for long, but it's speed allows it to avoid getting into this kind of situation.
Like almost all WraithCorp 'mechs, the Wraith carries a C3 system, allowing it to feed targeting data to other, similarly equipped, freindly 'mechs.

Cost = 1,848,439 C-Bills
Gunbunny
The GBN-4Y is, WraithCorp's major production model. Designed for recon work, the Gunbunny is still capable of holding it's own in a fight, with pilots often using the Lord's Light PPC to devestating effect.
Though the design is over a century old, the latest generation of Gunbunny is a state of the art machine, including an XL engine, TAG and a C3 slave unit. The Gunbunny's weaponry is primarily energy based, allowing it to operate in the field for long periods without re-supply. Indeed, it has been known for Gunbunny pilots to undertake missions lasting up to four days, living in the exceptionally spacious cockpit of their 'mech.
Modular internal systems, modeled on captured Clan technology, mean that the latest incarnation of the Gunbunny can be repaired and upgraded in the field with almost unequaled ease.
Combat Value = 2731
Cost = 6,989,360 C-Bills
Manthax
The Manthax is designed as a close range 'mech, equipped with a large hatchet in it's right hand and a pair of medium lasers in the right torso. Long range weaponry is clustered on the left side and consists of a large laser and an AC/10. As an added precaution, the AC/10 ammunition is protected by a WraithCorp Blast Vent CASE system.
At the ranges that the Manthax typically fights at, the C3 slave really comes into it's element, feeding precise targeting data to lance-mates to facilitate exceptionally accurate long range fire. Needless to say, this combination of close-up punch and long range support can make this 'mech very deadly indeed.
Combat Value = 3530
Cost = 5,460,150 C-Bills
Malachi
Designed as a command 'mech, the 100 ton Malachi swaps the standard C3 slave for a more advanced command unit. This allows the pilot to co-cordinate the fire of up to three other (slave equipped) 'mechs with his or her own.
The Malachi's main punch comes from a Lord's Light PPC and a WraithCorp Boltgun Gauss Rifle. Close-up firepower consists of missiles and lasers, whilst a trio of small lasers cover the rear.
When deployed properly, the Malachi is a formidable 'mech, with a 67% sucess rate against 'mechs of a comparable tonnage.
